Everyone is welcome to join DSBA-USSR, you don’t necessarily have to be a TU Delft student nor TU Delft related. However, in order to join our training and use the courts in the sports center, you are required to have an X-subscription. Everything about an X-subscription can be found here.
Due to a large interest in the club, we unfortunately cannot let everyone join the club. Therefore, we ask you to participate in a try-out. During a try-out we invite you to join a training, such that we can estimate your badminton level and see if there is an available spot in the corresponding training group. When all try-outs have taken place, we inform you whether you can become an official member or not.
The try-outs take place twice a year, in September and February. Unfortunately we cannot accept new members outside of the try-outs, but you can always contact us to be put on the waiting/interest list.

Badminton and X information
When you become a member at DSBA-USSR it is mandatory to purchase a X-subscription. This subscription should be valid until the end of the season (August). Below we ask you to provide a screenshot of your purchase. Committee interest
Being part of a committee is a great way to get to know more people inside the club, to help the club a little, and to learn some new skills. More information about the different committees can be found here. Would you be interested to join any of these committees?

Competition interest
Playing competition is a good way to improve your skills and to be more involved with badminton. It is also a great way to come into contact with other players and clubs. If you play competition you are allowed to come to an extra training session every week. More information about competition can be found here. On the 24th of February the first event that you can join as a member is taking place: the Tikibad event! Our events are a great way to meet people from the association, so don't forget to sign up!

Membership fees
The contribution fees are as follows:
- Beginner & Intermediate training group: €22,50 per half year
- Beginner & Intermediate training group: €30,- per year
- Advanced & Expert training group: €45,- per half year
- Advanced & Expert training group: €75,- per year
- Competition with nylon shuttles (if applicable): €35,- per competition
- Competition with feather shuttles (if applicable): €60,- per competition
We collect the contribution fees through SEPA direct debit. Therefore we ask you to fill out SEPA authorization below.

By signing this form you give permission to:
- DSBA-USSR to send recurrent direct debits to your bank to collect the fees from your account and
- your bank to execute recurrent direct debits from your bank account conform the mandate of DSBA-USSR.
If you do not agree with the debit, you can cancel it. To do this contact your bank within 8 weeks of debit. Ask you bank for the conditions.
Conditions and notes
- The season starts on September 1st and ends on July 30th.
- As member of DSBA-USSR you are obligated to have an active X-subscription.
- Until cancellation of your membership you are obligated to pay the membership fees and if applicable the additional fees.
- The membership fees are debited every semester (half year).
- You can cancel your membership every semester. This has to be done in written form before the 1th of August or 1th of Februari.
- You agree that a small yearly increase in membership fees can occur.
- If you decide to play competition, we expect you to commit to it. If not, Badminton Nederland fines following from this lack of commitment can be forwarded to you.
- You agree that pictures of you may be used for promotional purposes such as on our website and social media.
- The regulations of the association can be found here.
- DSBA-USSR will not share the information from this form with any third party without the consent of the undersigned.
